Incorporating the Science of the vastly superior lighting set ups that come from basking lights that provide full spectrum lighting (including UVB light). The Ethics of the current recommendations on enrichment, to allow the animals to display their natural behavior. Plus, the pet industry Standards recommending that a snake must be housed in an enclosure that is at least large enough to allow for the length of a snake, using a length plus width formula, our new enclosure series is called S.E.S., which incorporates Science, Ethics and Standards.

This is one great enclosure. I am upgrading from a glass enclosure. This one hold's humidity way better. This one is for my ball python (Gus). I can't wait to get my second one that I ordered a week later than this one and it will be for my milk snake (Bruce). I wish I would have got the extra security brace for the doors though when I bought my second one. I think I'll need them for Bruce. I'm glad they put the wait time on the site so it is not a surprise on the wait. It took longer than expected because of material back order they said but these things happen. I like how everything is pre assembled before shipped, it goes together very easily. My next purchase from you guys is a sky hide. Their communication is fast to answer questions too. Thanks Nate
I love everything about this enclosure! The quality of materials, the craftsmanship and the design are all absolutely phenomenal. Some may not like the length of the wait times for (some of) their enclosures but for the perfection Maximum Reptile delivers, I would wait much longer. The customer service is absolutely amazing as well.answering all of my questions and concerns asap and if the person on the phone doesn't know the answer, they found it or someone who does and got right back to me. My favorite part is the lighting/heating compartment. It is completely sealed off from my snake so she can't mess with her heating elements anymore. She loves to try to pull the safety cages off the ceiling every chance she could. It checks all the boxes. But it's not my opinion that matters the most, it's my baby girl; my ball python Glizzy. She absolutely loves her new space, spending her time investigating every inch at first then finding her favorite spots to settle and watch. Glizzy seems much more content in her new environment then ever before. I can't thank them enough for the amazing work they are doing. I will definitely be getting anymore enclosures from them in the future.
This enclosure was well worth the wait. I've had it several weeks now and I'm completely satisfied! When I got in touch with them to enquire about my delivery time, they were prompt in answering and very helpful. I would highly recommend ordering from Maximum Reptile. The quality is top notch, customer service is great, and, it's American made!
Very sturdy, with lots of room for enrichment and decorations. The built-in hood space is very cleverly designed and I love that it's internal so that I can put my garter snake enclosure right on top of it. Only thing to be aware of is that it takes a bit for them to get built and shipped (I got mine in about 4 months). However, the quality, design, and great customer service make these enclosures worth the wait! I'd definitely buy another if I'm ever in the market for one!
Great enclosure, holds humidity so much better than my last. Fairly easy to put together too! Having the lights inside looks so much cleaner and saves space up top. Only complaint is it literally took 5 months to come in when the original estimate was like 6-8 weeks. Backorders do happen- but I had to reach out first on multiple occasions as there was zero communication about delays.

This took a little longer to get than I expected, but the quality is tops. Very easy to put together and everything was a precision fit. I was a little concerned with heat distribution, but it seems to be regulating and settling great with just a DHP in the box. I'm currently maintaining a 75-88 heat gradient from wall to wall and because of the design, ambient humidity is fantastic. Well worth the wait!
"I preordered the SES 4x2x2 enclosure before my daughter ever got her ball python because I knew that we would eventually need an enclosure of this size. We wound up getting a young ball python that we housed in a smaller enclosure while we waited for this one to be ready. The quality of this enclosure is great! My husband built it and was surprised by how heavy the boxes were, but it didn't take him long to get it put together. His only complaint was that one part of the instructions was unclear, but he figured it out without too much hassle. I really appreciate the setup for the lighting large enough to hold different heat and light sources and I love that it doesn’t have a screen top that would need covered. We did have to upgrade our CHE, but that was to be expected with a larger enclosure. After a slight learning curve, we’ve been able to maintain heat and humidity with minimal effort. I would definitely consider getting another one of these enclosures for another pet!"
