Essential 4 Foot PVC & Aluminum Enclosure - 48 L x 24 W x 24 H

The enclosure is great. It's lightweight but sturdy, and it's easy to put together. If you opt for the background, I suggest using spray foam to install it. The silicone doesn't bond that well to the irregular shape. I used nearly a whole tube of silicone just to have it fall off when I flipped it on its side. The spray foam is rock solid and I can pick up the entire enclosure pulling on the background.

I purchased the essential 4ft enclosure along with the Alice background and 3 sided kit back on 6/30/22. The initial shipment for the enclose itself shipped on 9/7, so just a week over the 8wk estimated lead time (not bad imo). The background and sides were on back order, but those shipped just a few days later. When I received the enclosure two of the panels had been slightly damaged in transit. The box was well packaged but these things just happen sometimes. Upon notifying Jessica, she responded to my email immediately and sent out replacement panels without hesitation. They arrived in two days. Then when the background and sides kit arrived, I noticed that they send me the wrong kit for the sides. I ordered the one with two larger ledges and they sent the one with 1 large and 2 smaller ones. Once again Jessica responded immediately and without hesitation or asking me to send anything back, simply sent me the larger ledger of the two ledges that should have come with the kit I ordered. Now I actually have two extra smaller ledges that I can get creative with (bonus!) While the waiting has been a bit frustrating, it turns out that it was well worth the wait! Quality products are hard to come by these days and great customer service is even more rare. This company delivers on both fronts despite some kinks in their supply chain and manufacturing capacity that need to be ironed out. But to be fair that is literally almost every company these days.

I was looking for a quality habitat upgrade for my adult ball python and was thrilled to find out I could get this 4'x2'x2' enclosure in HDPE! Working with Jessica was amazing and answered my many questions quickly and took the time on the phone to explain how the heating and lighting worked with this enclosure. On top of that, they were able to send my order in a matter of days rather than 8-10 weeks because they had one in stock! I am really impressed by this company and can't wait to get my enclosure in the mail soon! I have done alot of research on enclosures and companies and Maximum Reptile is top notch!

This enclosure is incredible. It's large and will last a lifetime. The only drawback is that there are no predrilled holes in the corners of the tank for the pins that secure the tank to the base and hood to the tank.

The quality and build of this enclosure is beyond amazing! They have a true passion for giving reptiles amazing enclosures!!! Love the glass doors no plexi glass yes!!!

The fiancé bought it, I just put it together, besides having to figure a way to have the wire exit the enclosure from the inside to the out ( certain heat sources, Radiated heat panel specifically and light fixtures) had to install a cable pass through, but it worked perfectly with some silicone adhesive. The assembly was almost painless besides the first step of the metal frame took some elbow grease to get them to slot in correctly. Other than those gripes it's holding up pretty good and humidity is holding great.

Our ball python needed a larger cage and while we found cheaper cages, this essential 4 ft was our choice. Made in the USA (not China), the design and parts are by far the best out there and the enclosure took us just 15 mins to put together. Highly recommended for all ball pythons and more.

Having purchased many reptile cages over the years I was excited to see if this was as good as it looks and thee answer is YES! The quality and attention to detail is apparent. The design features are unsurpassed. Could not be happier with our new cage.

We received our 4 x 2 x 2 for our bearded dragon Max and absolutely love the size and quality of this cage. Will be back again to get another one soon for our corn snake!
